Scope of Work

Design & Research

Design and research are a staple part of building apps which also may include Market Research and User Surveys. This helps shape the design to reflect a better user experience overall. For this app we received market research feedback and incorporated this in the business logic used to architect and build out the designs and final features. We picked the best framework to allow future expansion and decided if any AI style chatbots along with other 3rd party libraries were needed as requested by the customer.

Implementation

Develop, Test, Launch to App Stores

After development and testing concludes, based on if the app was a cross-platform app we will ship to both the iOS and Android App stores. For corporate “private” apps that do not require public stores, we can setup download links for your employees to access.

Goal Completion & Results.

We setup goals and milestones for the app’s development to meet customer needs. This was split into 4 major milestones. First was research, second was planning and design, third was development, and finally there was user testing.

Hybrid Apps & Native Features

We build native and hybrid apps, but this customer specifically wanted a hybrid app since a piece of the app was built before and they wanted to reuse that component and for it to be cross-platform development to allow future apps to work more seamlessly with it.

Beta Program & Test Customers

There was a beta launch for a select group of test customers that provided feedback, in which we modified the app to better fit their needs and wants. Having customer feedback and user acceptance testing really can mold your app, and we push hard for this as we believe customers should drive feature development.

Android & iOS App Stores

We launch cross development hybrid apps to both app stores seamlessly. Other native apps, will take more time to launch as each would have to be built in their own respective language (Java/Kotlin for Android & Swift/Objective-C for Apple). After the launch, it’s important to setup analytics to understand how users are using the app from click funnels to hotspots.
